Académie Lafayette is a public school that works!

Since 1999 Académie Lafayette has brought top-quality, free public education within reach for Kansas City, Missouri students. Today our full French immersion, charter public school serves 560 students from Kindergarten through 8th grade ... more than double the size of our first enrollment.

We are literally bursting at the seams. Our kindergarten students have moved off-site and our attrition is at an all-time low of 6%.

Like most charter schools, Académie Lafayette relies on charitable contributions to fill the gap between educational revenue (state and local funds) and the actual expense of providing a quality education in a safe environment. We don't receive any money for facilities, so the mortgage on our current building and the plans for our future accommodations must all come from gifts.

The Annual Fund drive is the means by which you can supports the school through tax-deductible gifts. It will take a collective group effort to move Académie Lafayette forward. We ask you to join our efforts as we continue planning our future. With your financial support anything is possible.
