Diane Balagna is delighted to be part of the team at Académie Lafayette as the new kindergarten coordinator. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Education at UMKC, and recently participated in the summer program at the Université de Lyon II in Lyon, France. She is thrilled to be able to share her love of the French language and culture with students and their families. In her spare time she enjoys reading, running, cooking, biking, traveling, spending time with her husband and playing with her nephew.
 
Ms. Balagna believes that education is essential to fostering peace in the world.  She has found that exploring other cultures helps us to see our common humanity and the richness of our existence.
